I went out hunting last week and I found a great, did I say GREAT deal on one of my favorite Pyrex patterns. Our local thrift is very educated on what is valuable in the 'vintage world' and so I usually don't even try to look for Pyrex. However, this is a day that I came up lucky! I was strolling down the isle and my eye caught something...."No it can't be....No way!" I pick up the bowls thinking they would be marked "way too high for my dollar bill budget." I turn the bowl upside down and I think I heard Angels singing........the bowls were only .50 cents! Yes, I said .50 cents! The bowls I found are the “New Dot” Mixing Bowls and the colors you often see are Yellow, Orange, Blue, Green and Beige.
One day I will have a complete set, one day.....and a lot of hunting!

Oh my goodness, I think I might have passed out from sheer excitement! I covet your bowls. :) I am dying to find anything in the New Dot pattern or in the Anchor Hocking polka dot pattern.
PS--I had no idea you liked old Pyrex! I'm a junkie too. :) I love finding people who understand my obsession.
