About a year ago John and I purchased a Sleep Number Bed! Let me just say...AMAZING!
It adjusts to your individual sleep comfort and support. We purchased our Sleep Number Bed after John got back from Iraq and being deployed for long periods of time. He always hurt, his back hurt and he could NEVER sleep. John went to many "specialists" and he was given high dosages of muscle relaxers. He saw a specialist at least every two months! After going through the cycle of seeing a specialist, taking medicine and still being uncomfortable we finally did some research on our own.
Part of our research was finding the "right" bed and we found it! Our numbers are: 25 & 35. John doesn't take any medication and the specialist is now minus one patient!

So I have been checking into these beds more seriously since you made this post and on their website they tell you what your number should be. Mine is a 25 and Travis is a 60. I have no idea what the mattress feels like at those numbers, but those are the numbers they gave us.
