It has been SO MUCH FUN watching Ethan and Eliza watch the plants grow. At least once a week they would stand next to the corn stalks and measure themselves against the stalk. Gardens are great to teach little ones about science and especially about Heavenly Father.
Ethan and DH had a great time digging in the dirt. I think Ethan has done 50% of the weeding...he loves to dig in the dirt!
When the corn finally was ready to be picked Ethan couldn't wait to eat it. He schucked it and dove right in!
Eliza didn't want to be left out so she wanted me to peel the skin off of a cucumber and she dove in as well!
We are so happy to be eating fresh veggies everyday! It feels good to walk by the produce stand in the supermarket and....I keep on walking because I get to go home and pick vegtables from my own back yard!

Good for you. We had a really measly harvest. Well, I say it grew despite of our neglect. One cuke and a tiny little tomater. Maybe next year.
