7 days in a week

Sunday.

These are the events that we were involved in today:

John gave a lesson in Sunday School.

Emily gave a lesson in Young Women's.

Ethan gave his first talk in Primary on prayer.

Eliza attended Nursery and loved it!

Came home and Ethan climbed in bed with a 104* fever.

Sat down for lunch and realized I (Emily) didn't fill out the check for tithing, but I filled out the slip associated with the tithing. So, our kind Ward Secretary dropped by our home and told me to fill out the check and take it back to the Church.

Ethan threw up.

Another knock on the door. Someone driving by saw our peach tree and asked if they could pick some. YES! PLEASE! TAKE THEM ALL! I have canned, made jam and now do NOT want anything else to do with more peaches!

Realized with great anxiety that this little boy in my belly could be coming anytime. I'm 3.5 weeks out, but last night I had a lot of contractions. Which made me realize that everything isn't "perfect" yet. I don't have the perfect "house" yet. It won't ever be perfect, but at least this past week I cleaned the carpets!

Realized again...how grateful I'm to be able to rely on others to take care of my little ones when this new little baby comes into the world.

I Was able to remember that Sundays aren't always "quiet" or a time to "rest", but Sundays for me, are for doing my best to remember the happiness that can come from gaining a better relationship with the Savior.

That sort of Sunday definitely sounds familiar ( : I hope Ethan is feeling better! I enjoyed your thoughts on the sabbath, that pretty much describes my thoughts as well.

Wow! We've had Sundays like that. I'm assuming it'd be okay if I want to bring you a meal after you have the baby? I'm just trying to decide if I should make an old favorite or try something new. Take care of yourself and try to get enough rest before you'll be waking up every two hours again.

Thanks for the post. Our Sundays are just the same! Good luck in the coming weeks. You better keep updating the blog as good as you do know once that other little comes.
