Eliza learned a valuable lesson about not putting her finger in the seatbelt. "Sure it went in easy, but it would not come back out!!" oh the lessons we learn as kids!!
Yes I actually pulled out my phone to take a picture of my daughter in distress! That doesn't make me a bad parent does it?

Poor Eliza! I guess she won't do that again :) I was in nursery and a little boy got his whole hand stuck in one of the toys. Oops!!
Ahhhh...Poor Eliza! The hole just looked so inviting and fun. How did you get it out? Some lessons are hard learned. and YES you are terrible! You have traumatized your child forever.
Oh my goodness!! That face just brings tears to my eyes, and I want to just hold her and comfort her. I miss my little Princess Eliza.

What a cute picture! I'm glad you got her finger out too. I've been trying to take more pictures of the kids in their less than picture perfect moments. It makes for great story telling.
No, you are not a bad parent. Just one smart enough to gather evidence for a later date.You know:blackmail pictures.LOL....Funny thing, I did the same thing, as a kid, only I was old enough to know better. We were driving from CA to UT one summer and my mom tells us the story of how one of my older siblings stuck their finger in the hole and she had to hunt for a grocery store for some butter. After the story, I thought, my finger is much smaller, I bet I could do it. Wah-La! It got stuck and she had to find a store....Even funnier, about an hour after I did it, my younger brother ended up doing too. ha. I am sure my mom thought we were hopeless.
That isn't as bad as me laughing at Noah when he got his head stuck in the railing at Cave of the Winds. He thought it would be fun to look down into the ravine below and got stuck. He was screaming, I was laughing my head off. Fortunately Omer had sense enough to help him out. :)
