This is one of those times where you see a theme throughout a series of events. The fact that you titled this post "Gratitude" is so "lightbulb" to me. I am teaching Relief Society this Sunday and the talk is Elder Hales' "Being a provident provider." I just read it over this morning and have been thinking about it for a couple of hours. It just hit me before I came to your blog that Gratitude is the key- the key to being content with what we have. When what we have is enough- we free ourselves from material wants or desires that lead us to debt or addiction. May we all be grateful for what we have. Anyway, I just love that you titled this "gratitude." It was a confirmation that my thinking is on track! I'm also excited that you wanted to share this information too!

The work of NILMDTS is amazing.Your friend is so privileged & blessed to be a part of it. I remember many similar experiences with families when I worked in Labor & Delivery. Unfortunate most of our patients only had the opportunity to say goodbye and never hello. We would give them little memory boxes with photos, the outfit their baby had worn, a beautiful blanket and there were always hand and or feet molds that were made. A Willow Tree Angel was also added. We were able to give them a piece of their child's life to hold onto. One in particular comes back every year on her child's birthday and donates a beautiful outfit & blanket for another family to help them through the grieving & healing process. Those of us who are lucky enough to be apart of any of this work have been truly blessed. Thanks for sharing this story

What an amazing organization. I have never heard of this. What a wonderful service these photographers offer. As I read her story I had tears in my eyes, sympathizing with the pain of loss the families go thru and the strength she has to take the photos. Thank you so very much for passing the word along.
Hugs

Oh wow. What a beautiful thing to offer to people. I have two dear friends who lost babies within a day, how they would have loved this. Thanks for sharing it.
