At $2.81 a gallon we spent about $17.00 in gas and $8.00 in tolls crossing the GWB.
The round trip, including enjoying our cuisine, took about 5 hours and 122 miles.
We crossed 3 bridges, the George Washington (GWB), Manhattan and Brooklyn bridge.
and
All together the meals cost $41.00 and were worth every penny.
Both restaurants were great but if we had to choose we would go to Waffles and Dinges again. We will go to Taim Falafel many times but Emily is interested in going on a nice hot summer day!
Thank you to Throwdown with Bobby Flay and Food Network for introducing us to these great places!
