At approximately 12:30 AM this morning Ethan came walking into our bedroom. I was reading a book (I wish I could have been asleep, but I was uncomfortable due to my HUGE belly)
Ethan doesn't say anything as he enters our bedroom, he just starts to do "the potty dance."
I say, "Ethan do you have to go potty?" Ethan shakes his head "yes." I then say, "go potty!"
He leaves our bedroom to go use the potty.
I then hear DH saying, "Ethan...Ethan...what are you doing...Ethan please stop!"
I wonder what is going on? I decide that DH has it under control and return to my book.
DH then returns Ethan to his bed and comes into our bedroom.
When DH enters our bedroom he is laughing hysterically. I ask him, "what, what's going on?"
His reply, "Ethan just pee'd in the refrigerator. He dropped his pants, opened the 'fridge door and just let it go!"
DH assured me that most every male in the world has done "it." Has confused the toilet for the refrigerator when asleep.
In fact, this morning DH called his Mom and asked her to tell me about the time that DH pee'd in the 'fridge when he was a boy. His Mom said that DH was sleep walking and did the exact same thing as Ethan.
Like Father Like Son.
I'm still laughing... at least I know my little boy is "normal?" Assuming that peeing in the 'fridge is..."normal?"
Has this ever occurred in your home or to someone you know?

That is too funny! I think all little kids do that. My sister once went into my parents room and thought the exercise bike was the toilet. She just sat down and went. I think she was like 4 or something. So I'd say he was normal, at least it seems normal to me!
That's too funny. Emily and DH (that's cute) I found you through Jessica's blog. This is Torrie Young (Casebolt) by the way. Our blog is private, but I can send an invite if you would like. Just email tl2young@yahoo.com. Vanessa has just started blogging and her link is on mine. I think that is great that both of you post. Congratulations on your new little one to come.
